A groundbreaking guitar that was years ahead of its time, the Line 6 Variax 500 combines traditional electric guitar playability with innovative digital modelling technology. Finished in Red, it offers access to a huge range of guitar sounds at the flick of a switch, making it an incredibly versatile instrument for recording, live performance and experimentation.

Produced in 2003, this Korean-made Variax can accurately emulate a wide variety of electric, acoustic and resonator guitars, allowing players to access everything from vintage single-coils and humbuckers to 12-strings, semi-hollows and acoustics without changing instruments. Despite its advanced technology, it remains a comfortable and familiar guitar to play, with a straightforward control layout and solid construction.
